We're live: funding without the hunt
Why we built Xrimatodotisi.gr: every business funding programme in Greece in one place, in plain language, with a source for every fact.
By the editorial team, . 2 min read
Xrimatodotisi.gr is live. It has one goal: that every business in Greece can quickly see which grant and funding programmes apply to it, without reading dozens of calls to find out.
Why we built it
Business programmes come from many bodies, each with its own website: ESPA and its regional programmes, the Development Law, ΔΥΠΑ (the public employment service), the LEADER local action groups, the European Commission and more. The calls are long PDFs written for consultants. An owner who only wants to know "is there anything for me?" has to search all of them, and often hears about a programme after it has closed.
We want to fix that: one place, every programme, in plain language, with the source next to every fact.
How we work
- We check the sources every day. Among others: espa.gr, ependyseis.gr for the Development Law, Diavgeia, ΟΠΣΚΕ for LEADER and fisheries calls, ΔΥΠΑ and the EU Funding & Tenders portal.
- Every fact has a source. Amounts, deadlines and conditions are recorded with the quote and page of the document they come from, so you can check them yourself.
- A person reviews it. No programme is published before a member of the team has checked it.
- We don't guess. If a call doesn't set an amount or a deadline yet, we say it is pending.
What you can do here
- Browse every open and upcoming programme, filtered by region, sector and type of support.
- Run the eligibility check with your activity code (ΚΑΔ) to see which programmes fit your business.
- Follow the changes: extensions, amendments and clarifications as they are published.
- Ask for an email when a programme that concerns you opens or changes.
- Talk to us if you want help with an application.
What this blog will cover
We will write about new programmes as they open: who they are for, what they fund and what you need to prepare. Exact amounts and deadlines will always be on each programme's page, which is updated when the call changes.
We will also write guides to what every business should know before applying. If you are starting out, read what ESPA 2021–2027 is, how your ΚΑΔ decides eligibility and why funding applications are rejected.
What we are not
We are not a public body and we do not decide who gets funding. For every programme the official call of the issuing body prevails, and every programme page links to it.
If you spot a mistake or a programme we are missing, write to us. We will check it and fix it.
This post is for information. For every programme, the official call prevails.
